Biweekly Basket November 23- Dec 6th

Hello everyone! I know it has been a while since I posted anything, and I do apologize for that, things have just been pretty crazy. However, it is a time for a new round of biweekly basket! These couple of weeks I will be focusing on using the following products:

For foundation I will be using my new Lorac Natural Performance foundation in NP 1/Porcelain. I hope to do a review of this foundation soon, so be on the look out for that if are interested.

Kat Von D Mini Starstudded lipstick in Underage Red (terrible name, but pretty color). This also happens to be in my seasonal project pan.

Mac Media lipstick...this also happens to be in my seasonal project pan. Check that out here: http://delightfulbalanceoflife.blogspot.com/2015/11/project-pan-seasonal-challenge-finish-6.html
My highlight from the Too Faced Everything Nice palette (Inner Light). This is also on my seasonal project pan.
My Mary Kay Loose Powder in Ivory (also in the project pan)

Sorry for the blurry picture, but it is the most current one I have. This is my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer.

For body spray, I am using my Amber Blush from Bath & Body Works.

For blush, I will be using my Tarte blush in Peaceful. I really love this blush, it is a mix between a pink and a coral and the quality is amazing, a little goes a long way!

Finally, for my eyes I will be using my Lorac Pro (original). I absolutely love this palette, the colors are versatile, you can do a nice every day look as well as going for a dark smoky eye. The shadows are great quality and a little bit goes a long way. The only downside is that they are very powdery, so you have to be careful with that.

I hope you enjoyed seeing what I will be using! I hope to be posting more often soon, I just need to get back into my routine. Also, if you have suggestions for something you would like me to blog about, please don't be afraid to ask in the comments below! Hope you all have a great week!

Thanks for reading!

Biweekly Basket Nov 9-22nd
Hello everyone! It has been a while since I posted my biweekly basket, I completely forgot to do this last weekend! Oops! Well, here it is:

To set my foundation, I will be using my Mary Kay loose powder in Ivory.

For blushes, I will be alternating my Sweet Pink and Papa Don't Peach from my Too Faced Everything Nice palette.
For bronzer, I will continue to work on Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil.

For a face highlight, I will be using my Too Faced Inner light from the Everything Nice palette.

For my eyes I will be using the It Cosmetics Naturally Pretty Celebration palette.

For lips, I will be using MAC Media.

I will also be using Kat Von D's Underage red (terrible name!)

For foundation I will be using my LORAC Natural Performance foundation in NP1 (porcelain). I am actually loving this foundation, it is a bit light for me but I can make it work with the bronzer.
Sorry about the condition of this picture, I could not get the camera to focus! But this is the NYX felt tip liner.

Finally, for concealer I am using the NYX HD concealer.

Hopefully I can have some looks with these products up for you! Once again, thank you for reading!

Hope you have a wonderful rest of your weekend!

Project Pan Seasonal Challenge: Finish 6 by Christmas UPDATE 1
Hello everyone! I hope you are doing well. I am here with my first update for the Seasonal project pan, Finish 6 by Christmas. I am sad to say that it is not all good news for this first update, I have already sort of failed on one item, but I did succeed already on another item, so yay for that! Anyways, without further ado, here is the update:

For my body spray, I have made some progress, if you look at the picture, my top finger (middle finger) points to where I was when I started the challenge, and the bottom finger is where I am now.

I don't really know how to measure this, but if you go to the previous post for this challenge, you will see that the amount of pan you can see has gotten slightly larger. (http://delightfulbalanceoflife.blogspot.com/2015/10/project-pan-seasonal-challenge-finish-6.html )

Sadly, this is the original picture for this powder because quite honestly, I have made zero progress :-(.
This is a new add to my challenge. I originally had my Tarte Amazonian Clay foundation as part of this challenge but I went out on Halloween weekend and got ready at my aunt's house, somewhere in the transition, I seem to have lost my foundation :-(. So, I have added my highlight from the Too Faced Everything Nice palette (Inner Light) to this challenge; as you can see, I have already hit pan on this baby.

The lippie on the left is the one that is in this challenge, it is the Make Up For Ever nude lipstick in N9, I am proud to say that I have finished this product off and will be replacing it with a different one.
This is a mini star studded lipstick from Kat Von D. It is a pretty red shade; I am adding it to the challenge to replace the other lippie that I have used up (MUFE N9). I don't really love this shade, and I definitely do not like the name, it is called Underage Red. I know for a fact you can not find this under that name (I am not sure if they re-promoted it under a different name) but I do know several people complained about the name. I am looking forward to getting it out of my collection.
Finally, this is MAC Media; the very first line at the top is where I was when I started using this product this year; the second line is where I was when I started this challenge. I have not used a whole lot of this product up, but I have made some progress.

That is all the progress so far! Thank you so much for reading! I hope that if you are doing a project pan, or this specific one, please share with me, I would love to check out your posts and cheer you on!

September & October Empties
Hello everyone! I know it has been a while since I have posted anything but things have been pretty hectic. However, I am back with my empties for the months of September and October!

First of all, I will start by apologizing for the quality of the pictures, my phone was not cooperating with me!

First off, my dry shampoo, it is by the brand Not your Mother's, and it is the clean freak kind. I absolutely love this dry shampoo, you just spray it on and do not have to really rub it in. The only times I notice I do have to rub it in is when the product is running low. It is a white powder, so if you do not like the white kind, then this is not for you. Other than that, it smells great and works wonderfully! Already bought a second one!

These are two lippies that I finally finished off. The one on the left is the Make Up for Ever nude lipstick in N9, and the one on the right, I am sad to say is MAC's Russian Red :-(. I am sad to see Russian Red go as it was my very first lipstick I ever bought and one of my favorite shades of red. However, I am happy to see it go because I have had it for soooo long!

Next up, my go to makeup wipes. These are absolutely wonderful! They don't remove your makeup 100%, but these are the best wipes I have ever found! My routine usually consists of using these to take off the bulk of my makeup and following with my Yes to Cucumbers! face wash.

Finally, for this product, I could not get a good picture of the empty tube but it is the Neutrogena Healthy skin eye perfector in fair. I cannot say that I liked this product, I felt like it really did not do much for me, my under eye circles looked the same before and after I applied this product. When I first bought this, this was an impulse buy, and I can say I will not be repurchasing this, it just did not work for me.

That is it for my empties! I hope you are enjoying your weekend! I hope to post more frequently in the near future. Until next time!
