Blues and Purples...

Colorful Rainbow Eyes

Hello everyone! Today I decided to get a bit more colorful and creative with my eye look. I used mostly eye shadows from the Kat Von D Metal Matte palette (sorry, it was LE but I will try and find some similar shades). I did use one shade from the Anastasia Beverly Hills Subculture palette. If you would like to know how I created this look, keep on reading!

I primed my lids with the NYX eye shadow primer and set that with the shade Cream from Lorac Pro palette.

I then took the shade Silk, which is a matte pinky purple shade (Colourpop Tang, Makeup Geek Petal Pusher).

I applied the shade Ignite (a metal). This shade is a light medium aqua shade (similar colors are Makeup Geek Glass Slipper, or Nars Bavaria).

I applied the shade Nebula, which is another of the crushed metal shades. I applied this on the middle of the lid and blended a bit into the shade Ignite. This is an intense royal blue with shimmer (similar shades: UD Radium, and Colourpop Two Piece).

For the outer v, I took the shade Ribbon, which is a matte rich purple and applied to the outer third of the lid blending towards Nebula and the crease. (similar shades: ABH Violet, and MAC Indian Pink).

Then, using my ABH Subculture palette, I applied the shade New Wave, which is a pumpkin burnt orange shade, and applied that to the crease over the color silk. I applied this to warm up the look a bit. (similar shades: Chickadee from Makeup Geek. Please note, this palette is permanent so it is still available).

To correct and conceal the under eyes, I used benefit Boi-ing corrector and the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea concealer in fair-light.

For foundation, I mixed a bit of the Smashbox Studio skin in 0.5 with a bit of the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea in fair light neutral.

To set everything, I used Laura Mercier translucent setting powder.

I filled in my brows with the shade espresso from the Lorac Pro palette and set the brows with the essence make me brow gel.

For a brow bone and inner corner highlight, I used the shade light pink from the Lorac Pro palette.

To contour, I used the shade Taupe from Lorac Pro.

I used the shade Mauve from the Lorac Pro palette as a blush.

For a face highlight, I used the shade Nude (a shimmery light pink shade) and applied that to my cheekbones.

I smudged a bit of that dark purple (ribbon) to the lower lash line).

I set my makeup using the UD all nighter setting spray.

I created a wing on the upper lid using Tarte Sex Kitten liner.

For mascara, I used my sample It Superhero mascara and applied two coats to the top lashes.

To finish off the look, I applied iSOCiETY COSMETICS vinyl liquid lipstick in the shade Lollipop.

I hope you enjoyed this look! I definitely enjoyed creating it!

Urban Decay Gwen Stefani Eye palette Look

80’s Summer Vibes: Blue Liner and Pink Lipstick

Hello everyone! Today's look is inspired by summer and a bit by the 80s. I paired a bright blue liner with a pretty barbie pink lip. I hope you enjoy this look!

Started off by priming my lids using my Nyx eye shadow primer and set that with the shade Cream from the Lorac Pro palette.

I took the shades Anaheim and Zone which are both matte midtone browns, and applied those to the crease.

I applied the shade Punk which is a dark reddish brown to the outer v and blended that out into the crease.

I then took the shade Skimp (a satin vanilla shade) and applied that to the lid of the eye.

To conceal and correct the under eyes, I used a combination of benefit Boi-ing concealer and Nars radiant creamy in vanilla.

For foundation, I mixed a bit of the Smashbox Studio Skin in 0.5 and the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea in fair light neutral.

I set everything with my Laura Mercier translucent setting powder.

I filled in my brows with the shade espresso from the Lorac Pro palette.

I then set that with the essence brow gel.

For brow bone/inner corner highlight, I used the shade light pink from the Lorac Pro palette.

To bronze/contour, I used the shade Taupe from the Lorac Pro palette.

I then went in with the shade Mauve from the Lorac Pro and used that as a blush.

For a face highlight, I used the shade Nude from the Lorac pro palette.

I applied the UD all nighter setting spray.

For the winged liner, I used Wet N Wild megaliner in the shade Voltage Blue.

For mascara, I used the It Cosmetics Superhero mascara.

To finish off the look, I applied the Too Faced melted metal liquid lipstick in the shade Dream House.

I hope you enjoyed this look! It was definitely really fun to create. I think this is a nice play on colors while still being wearable.
