Colorful Eye Look using Kat Von D Metal Matte eye palette

Hello all! Today I decided to go for a colorful look using some teals and purples from the Kat Von D Metal Matte palette. If you would like to know how I achieved this look, keep on reading!

As usual, I started off priming my lids. I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance and set that with the shade Pink Cream from the Lorac Mega Pro 3.

On a flat shader brush, I took the shade Watt and applied that all over the lid.

On a crease brush, I took the shades Silk and Ribbon and applied those to the crease.

I used the shade Volt which is a shimmery purple and applied that to the outer V.

I used the shade Nebula (a shimmery navy blue) and applied that to the inner corner.

I then used a makeup wipe to clean up the hot mess left by the blue shadow.

For foundation, I used iSOCiETY COSMETICS HI Def Foundation in N45 Cool Neutral. I blended that out with a damp beautyblender.

To conceal dark circles, I used catrice corrector in the peachy/salmon shade.

To further brighten, I used my Nars Radiant Creamy concealer in Chantilly.

To set the under eyes, I used my Laura Mercier Secretly Brightening powder.

I used my Physicians Formula powder in Creamy Natural to set the face.

I took the shade Watt and smudged it on the lower lash line.

For brows, I used NYX brow pencil in dark brown to fill in and essence clear brow gel to set.

I used the shade "bone" as a brow bone highlight. This is a matte cream shade.

For bronzer, I used Lo-Fi from Urban Decay Gwen face palette.

For blush, I used the shade Easy.

For highlight, I used the shade Angel.

I set everything with Mario Badescu Rose water spray.

I used the Tarte pot clay liner in black and drew a wing on the top lashes.

For mascara, I used iSOCiETY Intense in Hello Sailor.

I lined my lips with the Bite beauty lip liner in 022.

I topped that liner with iSOCiETY Vinyl lips in lollipop.

I hope you all liked this look. I was pleasantly surprised. I was not sure how the teal and purple would work out.

Thank you for taking the time to read!

Biweekly Makeup Basket May 22nd – June 4th

Hello all! Welcome to another round of makeup baskets! For the next couple of weeks, my focus will be on the following products:

For bronzer, I will be continuing with my Lo-Fi from the UD Gwen face palette.

For blush, I will continue with Easy (middle on the top row) and for highlight, Angel both from the UD Gwen face palette.

For eyes, I will be focusing on my Kat Von D Metal Matte palette. I loooove this palette, I think it is surely one of my favorites! I am definitely excited to be using this one once again.

For lips, I am not going to be focusing on any in particular. I am really liking just going with the flow and picking whichever I feel like using that day.

I hope to have some looks up within the next couple of weeks, so stay tuned!

As always, thanks so much for reading!

Colorful Cat Eye Look

Hello all! Today I decided to play a bit with some color and do something a little more dramatic. I used my Lorac Mega Pro 3 to create this look. If you are interested in learning how I achieved it, keep on reading!

I started off with some clear tape, you want to stick it on the back of your hand first so it loses some of the tackiness (helps to be less painful when you take it off your face). I then applied it to the outer part of the eye, connecting the lower lash line to the edge of my brows. Note: I have uneven brows, one is longer than the other so I had to adjust so the eyes came out as even as possible.

I then primed my lids with Too Faced Shadow Insurance and set that with the shade Pink Cream.

I took the shade Pomegranate which is a shimmery watermelon green and applied that to the crease and blending down the line of the tape on the outer corner of the eye.

I also blended the shade Eggplant, a matte burgundy and placed that over Pomegranate.

I took the shade dark navy and applied that all over the lid.

Then take off the tape very carefully!

I mixed two foundations, the Tarte Rainforest of the Sea in Fair Beige and iSOCiETY Cosmetics foundation in N45 Cool Neutral. I blended that with a damp beauty blender.

To conceal undereyes, I used the salmon shade of the catrice corrector.

To further brighten, I applied Nars Creamy Radiant Concealer in Chantilly and blended that out with the smaller side of the beauty blender.

I set the under eyes with my Laura Mercier secretly brightening powder.

To set the face, I used Physicians Formula powder in Creamy Natural.

I then smudged some of the Dark Navy and Eggplant on the lower lashline.

I filled in my brows with NYX brow pencil in dark brown and set it with essence clear gel.

To highlight the brow bone, I used the shade Snow and a small crease brush.

To contour and bronze, I used Lo Fi from the UD Gwen palette.

For blush, I used Easy also from the UD Gwen palette.

To highlight the face, I used the color Angel from UD Gwen palette.

I set everything with Mario Badescu Rose water spray.

For mascara, I used iSOCiETY Cosmetics in Hello Sailor.

To finish off the look, I used the Laura Geller waterproof lip liner in the shade Cabernet.

I hope you enjoyed this look. If you want to make it even more dramatic, you could apply some falsies like Ardell Demi 120 Natural.

Thank you all for taking the time to read this! Have a great weekend!
