Tutorial: Winged Liner with a Bold Dark Lip

Hello Everyone! Today I decided to go for a winged liner and a deep red lip. If you want to know what I used, keep reading...

I started off concealing my undereye circles using my Maybelline Age Rewind Dark Circle eraser and my Sephora sponge.

I then used the Bare Minerals Complexion Rescue Gel Cream in Opal and blended that out using my Sephora version of a Beautyblender.

I set all of that with my Mary Kay Loose Powder in Ivory and a powder brush (that has seen better days...yikes!).

I filled in my eye brows with the NYX eye brow pencil in Dark Brown and set that with the Essence Clear brow and lash gel.

I prepped my eye lids using the Lorac Behind the Scenes eye primer and blended that out using my ring finger.

I used a flat shader brush and a shade that looks like a really light brown, almost leaning towards silver (I find it really hard to describe, but that's what the picture is for). I applied that to the inner half of the lid.

I then used a medium shimmery warm brown and applied that to the outer half of the lid (also using the flat shader brush).

I then used a fluffy crease brush and applied a dark cool matte brown to the crease (do this very lightly if the shade is really dark or else the look will come out very dark, unless that's what you are going for!).

I used a matte black shade an an outer v pencil brush and applied it gently to the outer v.

I then used a clean crease brush and blended that black shade out a bit.

I used a matte cream shade (think Brule by MAC, or NYX Nude).

I lined my eyes using NYX felt tip liner and created a wing.

I curled my lashes and applied my Too Faced Better than Sex mascara.

I used the NYX Wonder Pencil in light to brighten my waterline.

I used the last bit of my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer and a big fluffy powder brush to warm my face.

I used my Sephora contour brush kit and my Too Faced Chocolate Soleil bronzer to contour my cheeks, chin, nose and forehead.

I used a small blush brush and the shade Dream on from Too Faced Everything Nice palette and cleaned up some of that contour.

I then used that same brush and the highlight from Too Faced Everything Nice (Inner Light) and applied it (C shape) on my cheekbone and blending into my forehead just above my brow.

I used a blush brush and the shade Sweet Pink and applied that on my cheeks and blended that out.

I then used my MAC lippie in the shade Prince Noir (LE but very similar to MAC Media) and applied that directly from the tube.

I set the whole look using Mario Badescu's Rose water spray.

That's it! Very simple, just lots of steps. I hope you enjoyed this look!

Thanks for reading. Have a great weekend!
