Neon Lips with Winged Liner

Hello all! I am back with another look. Today I opted for a dramatic lip using my Feral lipstick in Euphoric. If you would like to see what other products I used, keep on reading.

I started off with my eyes, applying Too Faced Shadow Insurance to the lids. I set this with the shade Snow Angel from my It Cosmetics Celebration palette.

I then applied the shade Peace to the crease and blended back and forth.

I took the color Sugar Plum (a cool purple) and applied that to the outer V blending it out halfway into the crease.

I used the shade Warm Wishes (a dusty rose) and applied that to the lid.

For color correcting, I used the Catrice peachy corrector and blended that out with the small end of a beauty blender.

To brighten, I used the Too Faced Born this Way Concealer in fair and blended that out with the same beauty blender.

For foundation, I mixed the iSOCiETY foundation in N45 and my Nars concealer in Chantilly as the foundation alone is too dark for me. I blended that out using a beauty blender.

To set my under eyes, I used my Laura Mercier Secretly brightening powder on a dry beauty blender.

I set the foundation with my Physicians Formula powder (not my favorite, I do not feel like it truly sets my foundation).

I took a fluffy angled brush and some of that Physicians formula powder to brush off the excess of the Laura Mercier powder.

For brows, I used my usual, Nyx brow pencil in dark brown and essence clear gel.

As a brow bone highlight, I used the transforming shade from the Naturally Pretty Celebration palette.

For bronzer, I used Lo-Fi from the UD Gwen face palette.

For blush, I used the shade Cherry.

To highlight my face, I used Angel.

I set my makeup with my Mario Badescu rose water spray.

I lined my lash line with my Tarte clay pot in black and created a wing.

For mascara, I used the iSOCiETY mascara in hello sailor and L'oreal Feline mascara (waterproof)

I finished the look by applying Feral lipstick in Euphoric.

I hope you enjoyed this look, it is pretty simple but the lipstick is probably the most "bam!" part of it.

Thanks for reading! Have a great rest of your weekend!

Recent Empties: Thoughts and mini reviews

Hello everyone and welcome back to another round of empties. I have about 2-3 months of empties. I did not post this earlier because I honestly did not have enough to show. Some of these are constant repurchases and some of these are new products to me. If you would like to know what I have recently used up, keep on reading.

Tarte Rainforest of the Sea foundation in fair beige. I really enjoyed this foundation. It is lightweight, lets some of your natural beauty shine through, and it was very nice on my dry skin. The one down side was that my concealer is pretty full coverage, so you could tell where the concealer line ended and the foundation began, which was honestly, not a good look. If I do repurchase this, I will definitely need to think twice about what concealer to use along with it.

This is the Laura Mercier transluscent setting powder. I think this is a very nice setting powder, does not feel cakey, or like it dries my skin out. The only thing I did not like is that it darked up my under eyes instead of brightening them.

This is a sleeping mask from Algenist. It is supposed to be super natural and has anti-aging properties. I liked the feeling of it, it was very cool and kind of tingly. I am not sure if that was it reacting to my skin or if it is supposed to be tingly. You put it on before bed, let it set for 10 minutes and wash it off in the morning. This definitely saved my winter skin. I got this at Sephora.

This is my go to gel liner from Tarte. It is their clay pots in black. I will always repurchase this product. You can get it at Sephora or Ulta.

This is my go to setting spray, it has been in quite a few empties. I will always repurchase this. It runs about $7 at Ulta.

Finally, another go to, my Neutrogena makeup removing wipes. I absolutely love these. They take off most of my makeup and are not irritating to my sensitive skin. You can get these pretty much anywhere.

That is it for empties for these past couple of months. Stay tuned for empties at the end of this month.

Thanks so much for taking the time to read this!

Project Pan: 10 Pan Update for June 2017

Hello all! Hope you are having a wonderful day/night. I just logged back on here and saw that I have not posted in about a month! Geesh how time flies! Anyways, I had a few posts that were ready to go but not officially posted. I want to begin with an update on my Project 10 Pan, which in all honesty has been an utter and complete failure. I have maybe been using about 4 of the 10 products constantly, one of the products I have lost, and the rest have been forgotten.

Anywho... The following is the progress that I actually do have:

This is the body spray from Bath & Body Works, I am sure I will have this done in no time.

This is the Lo-Fi Bronzer from UD Gwen face palette, I am almost done with it but that little ring around the edge of the pan is hanging on for dear life!

FInally, the last product that I have been consistently using is my MAC lipstick in Snob. I am sure I will be done with this in no time.

Sorry I don't have much more of a progress to show. Projects like these remind me how terrible I am in remembering to use things. I think fast/seasonal project pans are a better fit for me because they keep me on track and force me to use the products. In the future, I think I will be sticking with the seasonal ones alone.

Do you participate in Project Pan? Share your current projects in the comments below!

Thanks for taking the time to read!
