Lash Drama!

Reddish Brown look with falsies

Hello everyone! I have another tutorial using my Too Faced Chocolate Bar palette. This time I was inspired by the reddish brown shades in the palette. If you would like to know how I did the look, keep reading.

As usual, prime your lids...I used my go-to, Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

Then I used a flat shader brush and the shade White Chocolate and applied it all over the lid and up to the brow bone.

I then went in with a small crease brush and applied the color Cherry Cordial (a wine color with a few specs of shimmer that isn't too noticeable when applied) in my crease.

I then took a bigger, fluffier crease brush and applied Black forest truffle (a dark wine-brown color with some shimmery specs) on the outer 'V' (outer crease of the eye and down to the edge of the eye) and blended this out into Cherry Cordial.

I then used a flat shader brush to 'pack on' the color Amaretto (a lighter reddish brown) onto the lid. To 'pack on' the color simply press lightly with the brush on the lid, this will allow the best application of color to the lid without it looking too blended out.

I then applied my foundation, I used my Tarte Amazonian Clay Full Coverage Foundation in the color Ivory. I like doing my foundation at this point before I finish my eyes because if I want to smudge eye shadow on the lower lash line, the foundation/concealer could cover up/remove that eye shadow.
*Sorry for the change in lighting but I need the light that comes through the window so I can see what I'm doing, however, it washes me out even more, leaving me with pictures that aren't very good...#palepeopleproblems. Anyways, here I am applying my under-eye brightening perfector from Neutrogena.

Now I used my Real Techniques expert face brush and my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer to contour my cheeks and forehead.

I then applied my blush, a combination of Sweet Pink and Papa Don't Peach from Too Faced Everything Nice palette.

I used a small blush brush and applied my highlight to my temples... I used Too Faced Everything Nice palette and the color is Inner Light.

I then used Benefit Speed Brow in Neutral to set my eyebrows.

I then used a small crease brush and the color Champagne Truffle as a brow bone highlight.

Then I curled my lashes and applied my mascara. I used Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant.

I then took a small eye liner brush with the color Black Forest Truffle and smudged it as close to my lower lash line as possible.

I am feeling up for more drama so I am applying false lashes. To do this, apply the glue to the strip, and wait 30 seconds for the glue to set. Once the 30 seconds are up, get the lashes (the strip) as close to your lash line (not on the lashes though) as you can and place them on. You can use tweezers to do this. Then, with the other end of the tweezers (the closed side) press slightly on the lashes so that they adhere better. You also want to push your own lashes up and into the fake lashes. Tug on the fake lashes a bit to make sure they don't move. Now, just wait for them to dry. If you got the ones with the white glue that dries clear, you still might want to go over the fake lashes with liquid liner like so:

For my lips I used Tarte LipSurgence lip gloss in the color flush.

I set my makeup with Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix spray.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed the look!

Every day brown eye with a pop of pink lips

Hello everyone! So it has been a while since I have done a tutorial, so I figured it was about time to post one. This look is very easy to do and can easily be worn during the day as well as during the night. I will be using the Too Faced Chocolate Bar. If you want to see how it's done, keep reading!

As usual, prime your eye lids...I used Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

With a flat shader brush apply the color White Chocolate, which is a matte vanilla/cream color.

Using a crease brush, apply the color Semi-sweet, which is a warm medium brown, in windshield wiper & circular motions to the crease.

With a fluffier crease brush, apply the color Triple Fudge, which is a dark cool brown, to the outer corner of the crease and blend it out.

With a flat shader brush, apply the color Haute Chocolate, which is a bronzy-chocolate brown, onto the lid.

Using a small eye liner brush, smudge some of that Triple Fudge on the lash line. If you want a darker or more dramatic look, you can also smudge some of this color on the lower lash line.

I then used my fingers to apply and blend my foundation...I used Tarte Amazonian Clay full coverage foundation in the shade Ivory.

I then used my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Bronzer with the Real Techniques Expert face brush to contour my face.

I then used my Neutrogena healthy skin brightening eye perfector to conceal my under eye circles.

I then combed my brows with Benefit Speed Brow in the shade Neutral.

I used a crease brush and the color Champagne Truffle (a light pink shimmery shade) as a brow bone highlight.

Then curl your lashes and apply mascara. I've been combining two: Kat Von D Immortal Lash and Make Up For Ever Smoky Extravagant.

I then used a fluffly blush brush and went with my go-to of the moment, which is a combination of Sweet Pink and Papa Don't Peach from the Too Faced Everything Nice palette.

I then used a smaller blush brush and applied my highlight, Inner light from the Too Faced Everything Nice palette.

For my lips, I dabbed the color Viva Glam Nicki from MAC. If you want to take this look into night time, or just like it a little more dramatic, you can apply the lipstick normally.

I then set my makeup with my Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix.

Thanks for reading! I hope you enjoyed the look and hope you try it out. Until next time,

Empties from February and March

Hello everyone! So, it has been a while since I have posted anything. I have been having issues with lighting as my apartment does not have great lighting and the weather has been gloomy and rainy. However, this post has been long overdue. These are my empties for the months of February and March.

This first one is a body sugar scrub that I got for the Holidays from my brother and sister-in-law. I absolutely loved this! I use it on my arms for those obnoxious bumps and on my legs to keep them smooth. This specific one had almonds in them and it smelled wonderful! I have already purchased another one but with lavender instead.

Again, these months I used the face masks. I really like this one because of the creaminess of the mask and the smell. I am looking forward to trying the Mint Chocolate chip mask.

This product was also given to me by my sister-in-law and brother. It is an exfoliating product for sensitive skin. I use it in the shower every day. It has really been a blessing for my dry patches (on the forehead, and around the lips). I already purchased another one.

These are my favorite makeup removing wipes from Neutrogena. They are definitely better for dry skin than the one in the yellow package. The blue packaging provides extra hydration to your skin and the purple packaging is more of a soothing, nighttime wipes.

This is a moisturizer that I like from Olay, it is made for sensitive skin and has some SPF. It took me about 3-4 months to finish it up.

This foundation has always been my go-to. No matter how many times I try to expand and find different brands, I always find myself gravitating back to this one. It isn't that I absolutely love this one, but it definitely feels the best on my skin and up to now, was the only match I could find. However, this winter has my skin looking even paler than this shade (MUFE HD 110)! I never thought that would happen but it has! I am now using a different foundation, by Tarte, which I am absolutely loving, so I don't know if I will be repurchasing this.

Finally, this shampoo is from Ulta, and it is supposedly for fine hair. It helps remove buildup on the scalp and is not damaging to the hair. I like this product but my hair is too complicated. I can't go more than two days between washes, and thus, am still on the hunt for the best shampoo/product/strategy to control my crazy scalp. If anyone has any ideas, please do share!

That is it for my empties for February and March. I hope to have at least one more post this week, as long as I can get the lighting situation figured out, so, *fingers crossed*!

Thanks for reading!!!
