Shimmery eye and red lip day look

Hello everyone! I hope you are all well! As I mentioned in my biweekly basket, things have been really hectic lately but I did create a look for you guys. If you would like to know what I did, keep on reading!

I started off with my foundation, Tarte Amazonian Clay full coverage in the shade Ivory. I applied that with my real techniques expert face brush. To get the best application with this brush, I make sure the bristles are just a bit wet.

I set my foundation using my Mary Kay loose powder in Ivory, and I used a fluffy powder brush (no brand).
I then used my Tarte Amazonian Clay brow gel in Dark Brown.

I prepped my eye lids using my Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

I used my Sephora Enchanting Eye palette; I went in with a small crease brush and the dark, cool brown shade (matte) in the palette and applied that to the crease in windshield wiper motions and circular motions to blend it out.

I then used my Physican's Formula gel shadow/liner trio. I used the second darkest shade and used my ring finger to apply that all over the lid, but not above the crease.

 I then curled my lashes.
I used my Make Up For Ever mascara (Extravagant Smoky).

I applied my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Soleil bronzer as a contour using a big fluffy brush. I pinched the sides of the brushes to get the brush shape that would best fit into the hollows of my cheeks.

I then went in with my Sephora Enchanting eye palette again and applied the matte cream shade to the brow bone as a highlight.

I used Too Faced Everything Nice Papa Don't Peach as my blush. I applied it using my Real Techniques blush brush.

Using a small blush brush (no brand), I applied my highlight, Too Faced Everything Nice Inner Light. I applied the highlight to the cheek bones just above my blush.

I lined and filled in my lips using MAC lip liner in Beet.

I set the look using my Make Up For Ever Mist & Fix.

Thank you for reading! I hope you enjoyed the look! Have a great rest of your week and weekend!

Hello everyone! Hope you are all doing well! It is time for another weekly basket! These are the products I will be using for the next couple of weeks.

For a face highlight, I will be using the Too Faced Everything Nice highlight in the shade Inner light.

The blushes will also be from the Too Faced Everything nice palette; the colors are Sweet Pink (cool, bright pink) and Papa don't peach (a shimmery peach)

This setting powder is in my finish 6 by Christmas (check that post here: http://delightfulbalanceoflife.blogspot.com/2015/10/project-pan-seasonal-challenge-finish-6.html ) , it is the Mary Kay loose setting powder in Ivory.

For bronzer I am using my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Bronzer.
For eye shadow, I am going back to this Sephora Enchanting eye palette.

For lips, I will be focusing on this lipstick in my project pan; It is from Make Up For Ever and it is in the shade N9.

Additionally, I picked up this trio from Physician's Formula a while back and want to add it to my basket. This trio is the shimmery gel eye shadow/ eye liner in the shade Nude.

Emerald Green Eyes and Bold Red Lips: Tutorial Using the Too Faced Everything Nice Palette

Hello everyone! I created this look using my Too Faced Everything Nice palette. If you want to know how I achieved it, keep on reading!

I am starting off by applying my foundation. I am using my Tarte Amazonian Clay full coverage foundation in the shade ivory and my real techniques expert face brush.

I then set my foundation using my Mary Kay setting powder and a big fluffy brush.

For my eyebrows I used my Tarte Amazonian clay brow gel in Black Brown.

I primed my eye lids using the Too Faced Shadow Insurance.

I used a flat shader brush and the color Turtle Dove from the Too Faced Everything Nice palette (Dupe option: Blanc Type from MAC). This is just a matte cream color. I used this to set the primer.

I then used a flat shader brush and the color Too Glam (bottom row, third from the left) (Dupe option to consider: Teal the Truth baked eyeshadow by Milani) which is a shimmery emerald green. I applied this all over the lid.

I then used a crease brush and applied the color Fawned of you, which is a medium warm brown,(Dupe to consider: Kid from MAC) to the crease and blended it out.

I used a small eye liner brush and smudged some of that Too Glam all over the lower lash line.

I used a black liner and lined my upper lash line and my waterline.

I curled my lashes and used my MUFE Smoky Extravagant Mascara.

I primed my lips using Mary Kay Age defying lip primer. You can also use a lip liner, a little bit of foundation, or even some concealer. This helps to create a blank canvas and allows your lipstick to last longer.

I went in with the color Paper Roses (Strange from Urban Decay) and a small crease brush and applied this as a brow bone highlight.

I am using a big fluffy brush and my Too Faced Milk Chocolate Bronzer to contour my face. In the second picture, you can tell that I pinched the brush together to get the perfect fluffy tool to get right into the hollows of my cheeks. This allows for a more subtle contour.

For cheeks, I will be using Sweet Pink from the Too Faced Everything Nice palette. This is a nice cool pink. I used my Real Techniques blush brush to apply it.

I used the brush that comes with the palette to apply my highlight, which is Inner Light (bottom right of the picture with the face products).

Since I am feeling a little more daring and this could be a "going out" look, I am using MAC Russian Red for the lips.

I finished off the look by setting it with my MUFE Mist&Fix.

*Remember that you can achieve this look with shades that are similar that you might have in your collection.*

I hope you enjoyed the look!

Once again, thank you for reading!
