Weekly Basket Monday November 14th – Wednesday November 23rd

Hello everyone! I am back with another round of makeup baskets. This time around I will be using the items in this basket for about a week as I will be switching over to my Lorac Mega Pro 3 for about a month from Thanksgiving to Christmas.

For the eyes, I will be using my Urban Decay Gwen Stefani palette.

For contouring/blush I will be using my Gwen Stefani face palette.

For highlight, I will continue to use my Laura Mercier matte radiance highlight in 01.

For lips, I will not be picking a specific color but going with the flow! :)

I hope to post some looks for you in the next week.

Thanks so much for reading, hope you have a great week!

CURRENT FAVORITES: FALL LIPSTICKS

Hello all! I am here with a fun post about my current favorite fall lipsticks. I do not typically change up my makeup that much depending on the season as I tend to wear whatever I am feeling at the moment, but I tend to have some preferred go to shades for the fall. The following are my favorite lipsticks to rock this Fall 2016:

For a more orange-y fall lip that goes with pretty much anything, I have been loving Lolita II from Kat Von D (liquid lipstick-permanent). This is described as a terra cotta nude. It is perfect with a dark smoky eye or even a cat eye.

This next one is a new one to my collection. It was released this fall, and it is the shade Project Chimps from Kat Von D. This one is also a liquid lipstick, but it is Limited Edition. This color is described as a rusty red. I believe this is kind of a brick red. It is perfect for every day wear, if you are the bold red lip wearer. I love wearing this in the same way I wear Lolita II. I do not believe they have this available anymore on the Sephora website as it was limited edition, but I am not sure if you can find it somewhere else.

This next color is a very flexible shade. You can layer it on thick for a dark vampy lip or you can apply it softly for a stain. It is the shade black cherry from Revlon. This shade is pretty similar to the MAC shade Media. It is a bit creamy though so you want to watch out for it bleeding.

This next shade I enjoy when I want to pair down my lips but still have a bit of color on. It is the shade Snob from MAC. This is a cool pink shade. This is a permanent shade. It is a satin finish so it still has staying power but does not dry out your lips.

Finally, the shade Myth from MAC. This is the perfect lip for when I want completely muted lips to pair with a dark smoky eye. This is also a satin finish so it is not drying. This shade is also permanent.

I hope you enjoyed this post. Are there any lipstick shades you see yourself reaching for more during the fall? If so, share in the comments below!

Once again, thanks for reading!
